Dedra Herod is an ordinary southern girl crazy in love with her great big God. Encouraging women everywhere, she invites them on the remarkable adventure found waiting between the pages of God’s Word.

She’s blessed to be working behind the scenes at BlissDom this year with lots of amazing glittery women as well as serving as launch project manager/operations coordinator for Picha Global, LLC.

She’s held several ministry positions at her home church Asbury UMC in Madison, AL, from Women’s Ministry Lay Leader (2002-2007), Women’s Ministry Special Events Coordinator (2009-2011), Women’s Ministry Communications Coordinator (2011 – present) as well as Bible Study Leader (2001 – present) and Altar Prayer Minister (2004 – present).

Her favorite roles in the entire world are wife to Mike and mom to three college students – Griffin, Lisa, and Becca, life just continues to exceed the edges.
